As France crashed out of Euro 2020, there wouldn’t have been many pre-match who were backing Switzerland to conquer the World Champions. But even in going in front the Swiss showed signs of an upset and but for 30 minutes of magnifique football from the French – and a spurned penalty – they could’ve been out of sight. Despite falling 3-1 behind, Switzerland forced a penalty shoot-out and the rest is history.
